Western Art On Wood

Our Western art on wood at Wild West Living captures the spirit of the American West in prints on natural wood planks, frames and signs. We have wood cowboy silhouettes and silhouettes of cowgirls on wood. Our selections include prints on wood of longhorn cattle, riders, ropers and rodeos inspired by Western themes on vertical and horizontal wood planks. We have wood frame Western art with wood fixtures on back to hang on walls with nails or hooks. The theme of cowboys in Western art dates back to the 1800s, when cowboys from Texas would drive cattle 1,500 miles along the Chisholm Trail from Texas to Abilene, Kansas. Rodeos gave them the opportunity to show off their roping and riding skills. The horses they rode became another enduring theme. The wild horses that still roam Western states embodied the sense of freedom of the Old West's wide open ranges.
